lol, not even close, but ok. Roddy has turned into one of the best receivers in the game. Calvin is a physical beast and has some of the softest hands, but Roddy will get the bump in ratings because of stats and Clavin's situation with QB. If Stafford ever pans out and becomes as good as Ryan, then Calvin will be in Pro Bowls every single year.

Putting all my eggs in the Madden basket this year since NCAA is dead to me at this point.

The gameplay movie looked sick, can't wait.

Calvin is the better wr but doesn't win as much. Peyton was the better qb but didn't win as much. My equation was correct.

Larry Fitzgerald is rated very high to have Jack Crap at qb last year.

I haven't bought Madden since Bush was a rookie in New Orleans and I'm thinking about getting the game this year. Is it a definite buy or should I hold off?

I didn't buy or play last years game on purpose. So I am definitely buying this one. Before last year I had owned every one that had been made.

i would say always rent before I buy Madden. I am getting the season ticket thing from EA anyway, so that is pretty much like a rental.

Playing the demo this morning, I was the Bears and the pack ran a WR sweep with, of all people, Randal Cobb. Felt pretty good destroying him with Urlacher.

Only played one game before I had to go to work today, so I havent played it enough to really tell how much I like it. Its also a demo from an early build(pre E3) so theres that. I will say that I havent seen any of the DB's warping through WR's like AA 12, but like I said I have only played one game.

Here's my issue every year with this game. I obviously always play NCAA before this and get used to how the game is played and the controls. And then I load up this game and it's like relearning the ****ing game. The game is definitely better than NCAA gameplay wise.

You play the demo yet? I like that it brought the run game from AA this year. I have hated the running game in Madden for years, this year it seems to work pretty good if you follow blockers. At least in the demo it does.

Played a full game. Running game is nice. Very similar to NCAA. I love that really good players actually can dominate a game. I'm so used to NCAA where every DT is good, every DE is useless.

Did you have problems with the kicking meter? It just wouldn't register me pressing the button when I got down to the bottom. Love it otherwise though. makes kicking difficult and not a sure fire full power kick every time.

Didnt have problems with the kick meter, just have to get used to it. I am in love with the FG/Extra point camera by the way. I played as Chicago and had trouble getting any pressure with the Left DE (iwagina or some ****), but with Peppers I was able to apply good pressure. Definitely tell the difference between great stars and decent players. I absolutely hate the speed of the QB's and their lateral movements. They have to fix that **** or give us a slider to nerf it.

Pregame is ridiculous. For those presentation guys, it's going to make them stiff in their pants. I will skip it probably every game though.

Yup, pregame is very cool...I wont skip and will watch probably every game...thats how I roll. The in game camera cuts are amazing as well. Keep in mind that this demo is from a pre E3 build.

I also thought the player models were way better than AA. Look at Nick Collins and tell me that doesnt look exactly like the real him from top to bottom. Even his posture looks the same. Unreal.........

OMG please tell me this is as good as the first quarter has been. Db tried to cut in front of me on a route contact as made and he didnt warp through me. The blocking is ****ing unreal, players actual block on first level then move to second level. What a novel idea. Pregame was insane i will more than likely move past that after a week but it looks great. The adjustments you can make on D shading inside our outside shoulder is great. NCAA cant even get close to touching this.

I am as happy as mason is lol, I just didnt want to post it, but I texted him about it. I hate getting this excited over the game, but the first game I played was great.....with exception to the QBs and their lateral speed and weird strafe. I am sure other issues will come up, but I like the madden demo better than AA12 retail(like I said though, this is only after one game and I reserve the right to change my mind to Madden stomping gamer rage)
