I'm struggling with it because it is so different from NCAA. Both normal and slow game speeds are significantly lower than the speed on NCAA. I'm struggling to adapt.

So far so good not perfect. Far less glitchy the NCAA 10 which is a failure in my mind so not that hard. I am returning NCAA 10 this week. So it was not hard to beat it out. All Madden is the only negative I have found so far. Like Heisman in 10' it is total robo qb and super human plays by CPU. All-Pro seems the right fit for me. I break away back in this game is a must. I have not played a human yet so have not fully evaluated it. So far so good though and I have thought all Maddens have blown for years.

picked this up this morning and while the graphics and details are better than NCAA..I like college better..I didn't like the camera view when you play a co-op either.

Well the issue of not having the ability to "train" your players is due to the improved progression and degression of ratings. I have gone through three seasons thus far and I have noticed that the progression works pretty well.

I just noticed something odd... I was saving a highlight and on that screen it gives you a quarter by quarter scoring breakdown. That screen had my score at:

Titans = 16
Texans = 15

Thing is my score is:

Titans = 10
Texans = 21

are roster updates out so far (putting in vick, favre, etc) free updates or only for gold memberships?

i was able to finally get my hands on this a few days ago and have been playing it off and on. it's alright. nothing that groundbreaking. gameplay is good as usual, and most of the presentation is pretty good. i feel like the menu and stuff for franchise mode could have been better put together though. i still think ea needs to take note from nfl 2k5 as far as how to present a game. the stuff they added in for this year's game was nice, but i'm a little underwhelmed with some of the stuff like the halftime and weekly recap shows. both are pretty bland IMO.

all in all, i'll still probably be on ncaa way more than on this game

Weird thing today against the Broncos, they were nearing the end of a long drive, i think it was 3rd and goal from the 8, when i noticed their RT was number 4.

Turns out he was a 2nd kicker on the roster, don't ask me how he was in at RT, but Aaron Kampman wasn't complaining. Wish i'd taken a screenshot but i forgot.
