It's not happening. I want it to happen. But it's just not. Morale is an all time low. He's proven and has been quoted saying he regrets leaving. Turning to kiffin would take some brains. Currie proved he doesn't have any.

Tennessee did the right thing by blocking Schiano but it's going to DEF take a Google hire to fill the job now....or Kiffin. Let's face it, Kiffin saw equally as bad in 09. But if there is any truth to Fulmer taking the lead I would say that hurts his chances...

Ya know, the man has said he should have never left TN in the first place. If he were to come back, you'd at least know what you're getting.

Is he brash? Yep
Can he be childish? No doubt
Would he do everything in his power to try and take down any big school on the field? Yeah he would

I honestly believe if he were re-hired, he'd be out to prove a point to Saban and any other coach in this league. The man would be on a mission, and at the very least the teams would be competitive.

Like someone said above, he took a no talent team and to them to a bowl, hell he had TWO walk ons playing Oline, and some how found a way to win 7 games. That's better than what we saw this year.

I wouldn't hate the hire

The funny thing is I think this was the master plan the holetime. Divide the fan base and reel them back in with kiffen.

I was thinking this too. Incite a riot, bring back kiffin as a hero. It would be genius if true. But i think currie is just an idiot. Or Haslam.

Saw Higgins and Rogers play the other night, I bet they feel like the smartest recruits ever, and I don't blame them. Higgins looks like the real deal.....

Never thought this fanbase would be clamoring for a guy that has averaged less than 8 wins per year as a head coach that thought so little of our program and the players he begged to come here that he bolted after 11 months for his “dream job” that he failed so miserably at that he wasn’t allowed to get on the team bus after 5 games into year 5.

Of course I never saw yesterday coming either

I think it was the plan too! HAHA Scare the S*&% out of us with a crazy hire, and by comparison we will be happy with "any", reasonable hire. Well played TN!
