I was under the impression that UT had thrown everything and the kitchen sink at Gruden and now it was just a matter of him deciding.

What makes everyone so confident he has accepted?

Someone posted something similar last night.
One of the responses was basically another poster saying if the deal fell through, they couldn't believe that it was because Gruden would turn us down.
Surprisingly to me, that post received several likes.

I have never been a downer in this thread but I can't believe that it's reached the point where a coach perhaps wanting an NFL job over a college job is "unbelievable".

Just think it would be crappy if our boosters and ad actually had stepped up but they'll still be the scapegoat. All because no one can believe a person may choose a more prestigious job. Or that maybe his wife just doesn't want him taking on that many hours away from the family.

Just putting 2+2 together from Beavers pic of the Grove Park Inn. Gruden's in-laws live only 45 minutes from there.

Thanks, but that's not necessarily my concern at this point in time. From what I've gathered, reserves (and even the CG) seem to have pilots who are previously military trained (e.g. once full-time, active duty). I hung up fighter pilot long ago, way too old for that. Simply put, can reserve duty servicemen be trained to fly rotor or fixed-wing aircraft?

yes, primarily Coast Guard and Army Reserves, fly rotary wing...So you would need to apply to Warrant Officer Candidate School, unless you have a skill for a direct commission and the try to apply for flight school once your in

Nobody said he was in Asheville. That was just speculation cause of the header on beaver's twitter. In fact, it is very doubtful as both JAV and LWS said he was in East Tennessee (and is now on his way to Green Bay)

It's at least of mild interest...given speculation by some that he can save his job by winning out...or not even winning another game simply cuz Currie doesn't wanna fire him.

We all think he's done regardless..but there is just that wee bit of doubt until it's done. Imo.
