Weird!!!! doesn't make sense, Last time I heard they could be obtained online for as little as 6-9 dollars a ticket

Why would he pay above face for a ticket? That makes no sense. Even if something awesome was going to happen, why pay above market?

Do not agree! Vinegar and crushed red on pulled pork is the bomb!

Completely agree on the sausage. Brisket is fine.

Also, to all the yankees, BBQ is food. It's not a grill or an event.

I was in Brooklyn a couple months ago and to be fair they have BBQ that will compete with anything out there. I was surprised at how good it was

larry said it wasn't a booster battle at all, that they were all in agreement in pursuit of gruden.
so does that move the needle?

I’m convinced Larry doesn’t know nearly as much as everyone gives him credit for. It’s like listening to Corso on gameday minus the obvious stroke repercussions. Larry was connected at one time and still may be to an extent but his connections aren’t as connected either.

I find it amazing, the amount of hate spewed online towards people, based on unsubstantiated rumor from anonymous internet posters. Just... Wow.

Boycott Haslam's businesses because someone named Beaver infers that he's not on board with our desired hire? No direct evidence... Nothing to substantiate. Just call for real world backlash to what very well may internet lies and trolling.

Hate Currie. Fire UT's new Ad. Why? Because someone you don't kow made an unsubstantiated claim? Because he's slower to move on something than you'd prefer, even though he knows much more about the particulars that you do?

The collective irrationality is stunning! These threads should be used to study human herd mentality.

I hated pilot long before I came to meet the beaver. I was hired as a contractor to write an application that would scrape all competitor gas station websites for their price on gas based upon zip code and compare it to pilots gas stations in the same zip code. They would then take that comparison and send a notification to the gas station and tell them to either drop or raise their gas prices. This was over 10 years ago. About the time that gas prices were skyrocketing. The owner then went on TV and told everyone that the rising gas prices was not due to anything he was doing but based upon the price of oil. I personally knew it was BS since I was the one who wrote the application that would tell the different gas stations to up their prices. Also everyone I worked with there was major league a-holes, so that didn't help.

After reading Currie latest statement I think Butch is gone after this weekend. The question is who's the guy??? Noticed how he said Butch will have our players ready Saturday then talks about Vickers last season.

Here's a weird/interesting/maybe related and maybe not tidbit...

A chattanooga attorney bought 4 tickets to tomorrow's game from someone my husband works with. For above face value. And supposedly he was buying "tons" of them.

Someone trying to make a run on tickets or just make sure now one can go to the game?

"I don't know who Tennessee id going to hire, but there is a long list of great coaches who are interested in this job, and it is going to be hard to mess this up" Swain

Grudescreen?

It tickles me pink when folks say, "hey, we're having a BBQ." Come to find out, it's burgers and dogs. BBQ is strictly pork (pulled or ribs and the like) and chicken. Anything else is beyond imposterous.

I didnt mean I won't eat vinegar-based BBQ, it's just not "BBQ," IMHO. As a native born and raised West Tenessean, I will contend that until I'm gone.

Swain was talking about coaches, several coaches currently coaching..........who have apparently expressed interest in the UT job. I think this is where his optimism comes from as he said that doesn't compare to 2012 when UT couldn't attract coaches.

Yeah I heard that.... made me think the same

I do the same thing when my son is playing. I wouldn't miss a injury.

As a momma of a former football player that had 2 concussions in one season I can promise you that ANY coach and I am not just speaking of cbj but ANY coach should have been able to see something was wrong with BK. When my son got his first concussion all of his buddies on the team have told me they knew something was wrong because he was talking ALL kinds of crazy. The Coach also knew something wasn't right and the trainer sent for me so we could get him to the hospital.
The second one... I knew as soon as he started to get off the ground. That one it took about 3 minutes for his buddies and Coaches to notice that he was WAAAY out of it. Again I was sent for and here we went to the hospital again.
You cannot tell me that someone on that sideline besides players didn't know that BK was hurt and should have been looked at.

Yes! If it's not molasses based it's not BBQ.

Went to college in the north. The first time someone said "there will be BBQ," I was so upset to only find grilled chicken and burgers. Took me until senior year to not strictly connect BBQ to pulled pork.
