It's easy to overcome for me...they have to make a Gruden sized effort for me to ever care again. Doesn't have to be him, though that's my obvious choice, but it better be a big money homerun swing. I want to see a commitment to reaching a championship level, before I commit again.

This is what I have asked all along.... I believe this is what I have been promised !!!

Here's a weird/interesting/maybe related and maybe not tidbit...

A chattanooga attorney bought 4 tickets to tomorrow's game from someone my husband works with. For above face value. And supposedly he was buying "tons" of them.

There is a very short list of coaches that have the name and fortitude to bring this program back to the level we all want. I'm ok with the hire not being Gruden, but it needs to be a good one. If Currie is working from a list, I'm scared we are headed right back where we started with Dooley/Butch.

Vinegar should never come near BBQ.

Do not agree! Vinegar and crushed red on pulled pork is the bomb!

And can TX stop referring to sausage and brisket as BBQ. That's all. Thanks.

Completely agree on the sausage. Brisket is fine.

Also, to all the yankees, BBQ is food. It's not a grill or an event.

That's what I came to recognize yesterday afternoon. I think Haslam participated and was a duck in a row until sunday-ish. I think he knew most of it, but I think MIT and bubba and likely others were an insurance policy should he reverse course again. I don't at all think he knew about that.

That is a definite possibility...

But I don't think Haslam has ever been in the row.
I just feel like he has been the obstacle all along.

There is no other logical person/group with that much power.

MIT, Beav, all of these insiders have called out Currie. Currie is Haslam's man.
There would be no reason for a public campaign if everyone was all in from the get go.

Well if Ergen and his group of boosters are truly trying to divest Haslam of his control over athletics, a miss on Gruden would likely mean Haslam remained in control. And we would then hire another pedestrian coach.

I haven’t found a good BBQ restaurant in middle TN in 7 years. Living in TX for a while, I was spoiled. I believe the condition known as “meat sweats” originated there.

Swain was talking about coaches, several coaches currently coaching..........who have apparently expressed interest in the UT job. I think this is where his optimism comes from as he said that doesn't compare to 2012 when UT couldn't attract coaches.

I am good with trusting Atlanta Vol, but there are others on this board that have either hinted to or alluded to what we want.... I am not at 70% like I once was.... but I am conformably at 40%.... I would be higher if I had the confidence in the so called 85% that others here seem to have... I HOPE the 85% can win this time

larry said it wasn't a booster battle at all, that they were all in agreement in pursuit of gruden.
so does that move the needle?

Decode for us simpletons....are you saying he is buying to ensure no one sits in them or what???

I did question the spelling of Haslam in Rocktops post. It just seemed odd that two connected people couldn't get a very powerful name right. It wasn't like there and their were switched. I wasn't fully and still aren't fully aware of what his connection to the AD is. It just seemed odd to me at the time. I didn't think I did it an offensive way and certainly didn't accuse anyone of trolling. I apologize 100% to him personally and anyone else it may have rubbed the wrong way. That wasn't my intention at all.

No harm I knew when I posted it some knit would be found to pick. Everyone is on edge and all our nerves are frayed. I think so many are desperate for hope we look for anything to prove or discredit what others say. I don’t take much of this personal as I know what I have been told and everyone can take it or leave it.
