Yep its true. Didn't watch the live stream, but somebody in this thread claimed it was on there too. Maybe its still up on youtube or the UT website. And, LA Vol has never been known to lie. He's a straight shooter, even if people don't like to hear what he says.

I wanted to bury my head in the sand and hope that our AD was some super secret genius ninja AD that was wheeling and dealing behind the scenes. But it looks like he is indeed an incompetent bozo. The jury was out for me but now he is going to have to prove me wrong with this hire.

I decided to take a look back at LA Vol’s post about Currie and the stadium renovations. This is just a thought but do y’all think his comments and/or focus on the renovations and fan experience was a product of the environment he was in at that moment? Since the main focus was on the stadium renovations during that dinner, that may be the only thing he wanted to talk about at that time and wanted people to shift their focus on it as well. If the meeting or dinner was in regards to a new coach, that would be the only thing he would want to focus on or discuss. Again, just a thought and partly trying to talk myself down from the ledge.

You make to much sense, everybody is hinging on every word. This goes for folks on all sides of this, I still think only a few really know what is truly going on and everything else is all smokescreeney. SOON!!!!! GBO!!!!

I just don’t buy that any person in that position would be that oblivious to the situation in front of them

Too many differing reports. We hear Gruden is 100% all in...then we hear he's balking. We hear Ergen and Haslam are fighting like cats and dogs..then we hear they are fine and on the same page...and the reputable "insiders" are questionable cuz even they can't agree as to what's going on.

Is there ONE source here we can believe?

Yes, I guess this becomes moot if he has a home run hire waiting in the wings. Hopefully he's not that oblivious.

He posted again later, and said he didn't mean for us to take it the way we did.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I highly doubt he’s oblivious to the current situation and the fan’s frustrations. I’d be willing to bet he’s getting dozens of emails from fans and donors of all levels voicing their opinions and displeasures with the current situation. I’d also bet he’s aware of the local and national media’s perception of the program right now, but a CEO type knows every detail of what’s going on in a business while outsiders (all media) only get bits and pieces of what’s truly going on.

Which are nothing. That butch is still the coach and that’s about it. No proven facts about gruden have been reported anywhere reputable.
