What I can't understand, an important assumption has been made by us:

IF Gruden has been offered $10M.....why are we not leaking the everloving crap out of it, via multiple unnamed sources, to every media outlet in the country? Why are we not putting pressure on Gruden to respond? There are still large segments of the country that firmly believe us even considering Gruden is fairy-tale land. Why not come right out and say officially even: Butch is fired and we've offered $10M to Gruden.

If the AD and boosters were able to do that, I'd like to think they would. It'd be a self-preservation move of choice to get the ball out of their court on the issue and let it be known that they gave it their best shot. That way, if it's a no, Vols will know he just isn't interested. It makes too much sense that it really makes me wonder if we've even done any of that at this point.

Simply CANNOT wait to hear how this played out. If we even hear at all. We all know however that the Haslams have a lot of say at UT

And as a current student of UT in finance that goes to class every other day in a building with THEIR name on it, it is well known

In a non jokingly way I hope they do. What good are stadium renovations if you use the stadium wifi to google the name of your coach because you keep forgetting where the hell he came from.

Anyone else get the feeling that if they give this thread up for a day everything will break and they'll miss it. So it's a damned if I do damned if I don't kinda. I want to be here for the IT moment, but have a feeling it'll never come while I'm here. Frustrating
