I would disagree with you there. I believe, and I might be wrong, that there is a duty to report that to the HC and the administration. If the assistant coach does not Butch can be in trouble for fostering an environment that an AC deems it better to hide the injury rather than announce it
ShoopsScoops from TOS (join date Oct 6 2017) posted this (TIFWIW):
"Lock this one down. Jon Gruden, while he did purchase a home in the Knoxville area, has no intention of coaching at Tennessee in 2018. First-hand knowledge from someone who is as close to the man as you can really get"
Can anyone vouch for this poster?
You've made a giant leap of logic which gives you a faulty conclusion for two separate reasons.
1. Does this situation fall under the auspices of "every conceivable sideline matter?" I would tend to disagree because BKs symptoms were being displayed on the field. So as someone who is presumably paying attention to the on field play with an attention to detail not possessed of the average fan it seems reasonable that he would notice one of his OL wiffing on blocks and looking confused.
2. Let's assume for the sake of argument that Butch did not notice. Wells appears to have been acutely aware of the situation and didn't report it to med staff or Butch. This is going to be deemed a failure on Butch's part to properly train his staff. The taint of Well's failure will be attributed to Butch.
If he purchased on weekend of Georgia game, it was the same weekend I heard that Butch gone was for sure..
If he closes on the Haslam house as is indicated on TOS that would say that the Haslam's must be on board with the Gruden hire???
Big IF's of course and a stretch... but just a thought
Wasn't the house on lyons bend? The one I thought that people were referring to has been on the market for 70 days. If that's the case, then it wasn't just made available for him.
I'm not entirely positive on the actual house, but if it's the one I believed it to be then it's been on the market for a little over 2 months.
Which leaves us scratching our heads as to why an unmitigated disaster is still prowling our sidelines on Saturdays.

Yup, that is why I provide all the information I was given and not just what they posted.
