Why are you here? Seriously? You’re not changing anyone’s mind. Truth is, you and your fellow whiny butts want this to be true and hang out hoping to hear something to hold onto.
You just have absolutely nothing to offer of any substance. Literally. Nothing. You’re not funny, you aren’t quick witted, you can’t take a joke, you aren’t capable of deciphering information at fast rate, you get confused with big words, you take sarcasm literally and you’re probably single because I can’t imagine anyone willing to hear you whine on an entire date. That being said, get out.

Why did you take it so easy on him:):)

I don't remember there being an injury timeout for Kendrick. If that's true, then I can see a scenario where the rep didn't know.

....I also fell asleep watching that game several times. :)

There are also SEC people in the booth that radio down. It's pretty heavily monitored. That's not to say something can't slip through the cracks.

Reputations on the line.

First one exposed: DocVol..."Butch will be fired following KY no matter if he wins or lose"

Next ones standing in line.

He may be..It's not Saturday. Could also be fired with an end date. Also, could have predicted we'd have an internal investigation going on right now.

Since I'm drinking Bull and Bourbon:
Gruden! Turn around 3 times and say
Thank you lord Jesus!!!!

I don't see how any of this makes UT a desirable landing spot for any top tier coach. Recruiting class is shot, roster is a mess and now you have legal troubles.

Butch is still the coach here because Big Jim wants him to be the coach here. When Big Jim says it's time for him to leave that's when he'll go.

Don't forget a fanbase that goes on social media to #emptyneyland, when something goes wrong.

You can't really think a potential coach would look at something like that and go 'Oh, no! Did you see what they did to poor Butch Jones? Next!'

Ha... Just don't get that one at all. I mean I get it your pissed off but why take it out on the team. These guys choose to come here. We owe them our support.

Can you point us to who reported it? Everything I have heard is that the staff did not know. I am not saying either way, but all I have seen is speculation.

See the Clay Travis story from earlier today. Was reported that he was told at the half to stay out there for the second half because his back up didn't make the trip to Lexington.

The lack of subject verb agreement by some on this thread are comical......

Just messing with ya Behr! I couldn't resist! :)

Yea, I started it one way, changed my mind but forgot to edit.

Oh well. I've never claimed to be the sharpest cheese on the platter.

Should have known when he lined up off the ball.

Watched the replay today and he looked out of it the entire second half. On our last possession when Richmond gave up a sack, the next play Kendrick was out, Thomas moved to RT, Robertson went to C, and Ryan Johnson went to LG for the final 22 seconds. Kendricks wasn't hit at all on that last play or the series before when he went out. (Hit as in anything to the head)

We're due for a Beaver sighting. I'll catch up later.

It is major league players competing against a high school team. Many of the boosters earned their money and influence in the free market. They have decades of experience putting together deals, hiring MBB consultants to develop plans, and applying strategic pressure to ensure certain outcomes.

The AA/AD on the other hand do not hire elite people to look at deals, love to hang around yes men, and run from obstacles rather than try to solve them.

It is not a fair fight.
From this afternoon.

Honestly I don't recall all the names of the posters who have suggested Gruden is a lock. I say "suggested" cuz most (save the one u mentioned) have danced around it a bit with a "wink wink..you know what I mean" type of post. And yes..in their defense they always preface with a "don't hold me to it" but their intentions are obvious.

"Don't hold me to this...but I heard ...(insert claim)..is happening (or already happened)". And they always claim some sort of special 'insider' connection and/or knowledge.

Let's not pretend their intentions are not to suggest Gruden is happening. I eat all of it up..don't get me wrong. I LOVE it. Just wish something were happening in a more official manner...from reputable sources that would corroborate the speculation.

As far as Hyams? I get that he's just saying what he heard the company line is...but it's concerning THAT is what the company line is.

Is it possible that is the "company line" because he's trying to use it as leverage for something, regardless of his intention? At this point, maybe or maybe not. My guess (or rather hope) is Currie really needs this to play out on a predetermined timeline and is doing everything he can to make sure that this plays out as planned.

The Kendrick situation really screws up any control Currie may have wanted over the timing. He is currently being hung in the court of public opinion and may be forced to make alternative decisions, some of which may require a bit more behind-the-scenes work than we would like.
