Google Maps says the efficient route, which any good long haul driver would know, is down along I-77, through Virginia and nowhere near Knoxville.

The plot thickens....

Sorry, but the idea that a trucker would drive an extra 13 miles to avoid that stretch of 64/77 through West Virginia/Virginia is not that hard to believe. It's 150 miles of twisty, up-down.

This is my guess. Last weeks MNF game was at Green Bay and next weeks is in Charlotte...mapping it out on Google maps takes them straight through Knoxville.
