Wow.
You catch on quickly...

It's almost as if you came in here knowing you were going to share this info.

A lot of people lately working with a hairpin trigger.
To say this so it's not in code. There are open ended questions leading to some people having very researched answers and web links ready to go almost immediately. IMO.

Sorry, but the idea that a trucker would drive an extra 13 miles to avoid that stretch of 64/77 through West Virginia/Virginia is not that hard to believe. It's 150 miles of twisty, up-down.

Of course, you're right, but that stretch of I-40 through the mountains (Pigsah National Forest, I think it is?) is no picnic for a long haul driver, either.

One way or the other, you gotta get across the Appalachians.

And these being moving trucks, not MNF production trucks, fits the message Behr paid me $20 to deliver. :)

p.s. Just kidding. He doesn't pay nearly that well.

So...
Some are suggesting/guessing/inferring that Currie likes to make fires/hires relatively close together.
Some information has been given that, with JG being the founder of the Fired Football Coaches Club, he wouldn't want to be associated with going behind a sitting coaches back to take their job (even though we all know Butch has been "fired", it just isn't public).

How does a scenario play out (if said information is true) where Butch is let go/resigns, and within a week, JG is hired? It is very rare that a coach is hired that quickly (look how long this process is taking, though it isn't "out in the open")
Wouldn't that look suspect to the national scene and lend to speculation that Gruden was working behind the scenes to take the job, thus, hurting his image/mission with his club?

Not that it matters b/c he will be busy putting UT back on the map, but I'm bored and work is not that appealing today.

Thoughts?

Perhaps it makes more sense to call as business across the street where someone could see the parking lot without being an actual stakeholder?

Welp, not what I wanted to hear just now.

The Vegas odds for Gruden becoming UT’s next HC is going down while Mullen is starting to trend up.

SMDH.

good grief people I’m pro gruden but we don’t need to be calling hotels to confirm MNF trucks are there on their way to Charlotte

Give me a minute.

I live 15 minutes from Charlotte. I can take up the ground game from here. What are my orders?

"I will give my all for Tennessee Today" and the next few days if need be.

On a side note. ESPNU has a large studio in Charlotte. I know some low level guys that work there. Time to reach out and see if there is any buzz.
