I would say that when posters like LWS and people like Hubbs start coming around to the possibility that Gruden could become I next coach, we should soon start seeing the local medial warm up to the idea..... Late to the party as usual .. As more and more comes out there will of necessity come some type statement from the AD about Butch

No Timing on this in my mind at all............

By the way.... can one of you make a trip to the store and get me some prune juice, I seem to be out again... :)

Chizik ripping Butch for that was incredibly stupid. He knows better. He'd rip Butch for putting in a damn walk on too. Griff can be annoying and Butch has done enough real things to fire him. We don't need to make stuff up or overreact to nothing.

I thought Chiz was a tool for ripping Butch as well.

We have games left on the schedule and JG gets beat like a drum. Completely unreasonable to assume he will be healthy the rest of the way.

Furthermore McBride can always redshirt next year if it’s an option.

People seem to ignore sound football decisions in order to pile on the dead horse.

True story..had a dream last night about Gruden..I walked by him as he was in the MNF booth and high-fived him..Said dilly dilly and he returned the favor...

I put more stock into what he says over every other "insider" on here combined. Having said that, his last few posts are intriguing.

McBride was necessary since it appeared JG was in pain. The one I hated was putting Berry in at this late in the season--now, instead of medical Redshirt, he's done. I would have loved to see what Gruden could have done with him.

Biggest signal that's come out in the last few weeks is the decision to move forward with unveiling of stadium renovation plan. You don't do that if you're intending to roll with the status quo.

I disagree, at the time we didn't know that JG wasn't coming back in the second half because JG came back after one series. At that point it looks like you burn a redshirt for no reason. JMO though

If Gruden is indeed going to be the coach I'd much rather see an announcement before Dec 1st for recruiting purposes. I guess they could fire Butch on the 26th and announce the new coach on Monday the 27th and still get all the press they need before the SEC Championship game on Dec 2nd. Just speculating a possible timeline :)
