The timing decision is all on the AD’s side which I can only speculate about. I will say this, I am surprised Butch is still the coach with how badly we are bleeding on the recruiting end.

UT can’t afford what happens if they reject the Gruden deal. They like to build too many new buildings and construction projects to afford to piss off the people who put this thing together. Also, this time is very very different from 2012 between the players involved and Gruden’s situation.

I believe Beaver's information is correct to the best of his knowledge, mainly because it's rational and Atlanta Vol is vetted and MIT can accurately answer some questions.

Con may have not been the right word. I do believe VN and the fans are being used as leverage, and that noone knew how long this timeline would play out (long game). We still don't. UT's various factions are in he middle of high stakes poker. I will say, if I was setting something up and using the name MIT I would be ready to substantiate that, TN fan..check, in LA..check. You see the point.

Something has happened that causes me to proceed cautiously. Again, I'm not an insider.

So is Beaver a troll....I think no....is Beaver a chess piece..Yes!

I originally heard it was going to be after the meeting. Then got word we should here something today. But not sure that will happen. I am surprised as well.

But FL fans still filled the seats with Mac and Muschamp, the difference is the FL AD won't accept mediocrity for the football program, where as UT will

Ps... it’s delicate in here so I’m really not pulling things over on people. Just speculating. The leak about the $10m offer to gruden was, imo, intentional. Based on stuff a lot of insiders have said.. wouldn’t put it past reasonable that a deal of some kind with gruden has been made but the school will either balk at it for fall in line. Hence the bubba/beaver posts, VFLs pushing gruden, etc. it’s a big poker game where boosters just flipped over and ace to let the admin know they aren’t messing around.

Personally... I’m at about 20% he’ll be here
