Here are two predictions:

1. When the line moves oh so slightly in the wrong direction today, our cast of drop-ins will amazingly show up with grumors.

2. Others will begin to say that this was a done deal, but the way Currie has mismanaged the interim process has Gruden backing off.

How many years are people going to claim that this is the year UT finally takes winning seriously again? I have seen zero evidence to support it other than the notion that Currie is new and he can’t be as incompetent as the previous ADs. He can be and likely is. I hear things from time time, liquor and golf will do that. I would be shocked if UT fired Jones and replaced him him with a proven winner much less Gruden. I would not be shocked to see this process drag out until December. The bigger concern is what if UT gives Jones another year? That would be devastating to UT football but I wouldn’t put it at zero percent

Everyone is up in arms. Myself included. Still hoping this is all a dog and pony show—him Still here Sunday morning.

Gave you guys the info that I’m 100% happened the way I gave it to you. Butch’s buyout and terms were absolutely decided and signed off on. Didn’t (and won’t speculate) on anything else (potential coaches, “done deals”,...) Bc I don’t have info on that this go around.

I’ve been pretty calm Bc I’m confident in him reaching a buyout—100%, that did happen—but , if we go Sunday and Monday and CBJ is still here, it makes me think something is really wrong.

I said previously it seemed like they were waiting on something else before letting Butch walk away. Didn’t claim to know what that was. But, if Sunday and Monday come and he’s still here, there’s something wrong, IMO. And that’s the point I stop being calm and patient, personally. Don’t know how else to say it.

Still watching and waiting with the rest of you.

All you have to do is think about it folks.Gruden is an all chips on the table, do or die, everything in one basket bet, that if failed would kill the UT football program for decades if not for ever. If Gruden didn't win, a coach that hasn't coached anything in ten years and hates the recruiting game; if he didn't win, there would be nothing left. You would be tied in chains in the basement with no way out. You would have to give him EVERYTHING. Does that sound like Currie to you?

If it is a "DONE DEAL" there should be ZERO need to put pressure on the administration and why would the Boosters still be doing everything that can... once I have a job DONE.. I stop working on it and go to the next ....... this post confuses me more than the others

Folks, part of any really good disinformation OR camouflage campaign is to weave in things that are accurate or expected to be seen. In this case location and suspension of common logic for the fallacy, if we verified his location as true then everything else he prints or says must be true, which we all know can lead to the false. Recall somewhat early on where it was reported Gruden was at the end of his contract by some insiders was found completely untrue, his contract actually runs through 2021 and that falsehood was brushed away and yada yada yada by true believers? Your post reveals you are using your head for something other than a hat rack.
