Ha, I'm still hoping for Patterson, but that's not going to happen.

Hearing him talk today and the stuff he told me, is starting to make me a believer. He has never told me BS, and for him to go out on a limb like that, says a lot to me.

Now do I still have my reservations, of course I do, But to hear how he talked and the info he shared, was interesting to say the least.

We all just want UT to get back to putting fear into our opponents. We haven't had that in many years. I want people to think about us WEEK ONE. So if Gruden is the answer then I will welcome him!!!!!

Yes... Remember 2012 they were screaming NO Gruden.... Now they are avoiding it like the plague! It all has a different feel for sure!

Just read the old Gruden Cliff Notes thread from 2012. We were being taken for a ride then, and we are probably being taken for a ride now. Even by some of the same posters.

Yes! I get the appeal of Patterson, but just not sure he would come. I think for several reasons Gruden is a better fit. I'm not worried about his lack of college coaching experience - I think he's going to put together an amazing staff! I assume next week we can finally start discussing those positions - so excited for this next era to start!

Hasn't worked out?? Michigan was a 5 win team that immediately improved to 10 wins in back to back seasons in an ultra tough division. They are recruiting like gang busters and will probably finish 8-4 or better in a year after they lost ton of talent to the NFL and lost their starting QB in season. All this and Harbaugh hasn't even filled the roster with his guys yet.

Because of your open mind and willingness to hear the logic your friend shared, we will welcome you here. Your other friends are likely to start trickling in over the next few days.

We do have a couple of rules:

- You are welcome to ask questions, but please don't phrase them as reasons Gruden wouldn't be successful.

-Bring your A game on gifs. Seriously, only the best. You are allowed to learn here, though. Please see preacherwebb for instructions.

-If you see new folks coming in talking about Gruden not coaching for 10 years, not wanting to recruit, not having enough college coaching experience, or the like, please help them find the exit.

Again, we grant you provisional membership due to your willingness to see the error in your thinking.
