Well I'm not one to stir the pot or claim to have any info, and I've always been a advocate for Patterson, but I talked to three former players from our era (90s) today at lunch and there seems to be some validation of said "insiders" info.

Not going to say what I was told today and the ensuing conversation we had cause most of it was just us catching up. But we did talk at length about the grumors and what is said on this board, and one of the guys is a member on here and post good info concerning plays, and tries to educate people on schemes sometimes when people ask him stuff.

According to him and what he's heard through certain people, it is plausible that Gruden may be in play, and that it may happen and it's not so far fetched as I had thought.

So I guess we will see

Correct. From what I've been told, the work is done, minus the timing and the rest of this season. I don't speculate to know WHEN that will be resolved. But obviously the sooner the better, for all parties involved, IMO.

The closer the end is for Butch, the more people are running in here to tell us how crazy we are for believing The Gru is coming. Is it just me or do y’all notice it too?

This is why I rarely believe a word from our local media. They are mouthpieces, not journalists. They closer they are to UT, the more doubt I cast on anything they say.
