Well if we some how make a bowl, they could still possibly have in the agreement that he'll get his bowl bonus but he wouldn't have to coach the bowl game and would be gone the moment the regular season ends

But the only reason they wouldn't fire him anyway and pay him the bonus as part of the buyout is if they think we may not make a bowl game......and if that's the case......shouldn't they go ahead and fire him and turn gameplanning duties over to give us the best chance of making one?? Gotta win at Kentucky or vs Vandy to make one presumably (unless there's a repeat of 2015 with major lack of eligible teams), and I honestly can't see that happening under Butch's direction.
