We may all have different opinions on who knows what, but I think we all agree Butch needs gone now. I know Saturday is an away game, but I see no point in doing dragging it out. Yeah, it may reduce the buyout, but how much will they lose the following week because of angry fans not showing up? I support our team fully, but dang, it’s hard to get excited to watch our pathetic offense. Next week will be the first chance since Indiana st I’ve had to watch, and I’m a bit excited.

How many times do you hear coaches publicly decline a job? And ADs “always” get the guy they wanted.....at least publicly; even if it was their 10th choice. All that stuff comes out behind the scenes.

3 is the only one you’re going to get.

That's about what they owe him if they fire him.

According to this article from 2016 if he leaves to go to another school it would be this:

Buyout if Fisher leaves: "If he elects to leave, Fisher’s buyout is now the sum of all monies remaining on the contracts of his assistant coaches not retained by the university.

So, for example, if Fisher leaves, and the university retains none of ten coaches each making $500,000 on one-year deals, Fisher would owe the school $5M within 30 days. Given that many assistants are employed on two- or three-year contracts, it’s likely that this buyout number could be in the $10-15M range."

Well if someone makes a claim, the burden of proof is on them. So yeah if someone says he is a troll they have to put forth proof, but he has the same burden of proof. At this point you’re arguing opinions.

Really want Butch out now so I can be all in on beating Kentucky. I have mixed emotions if I think we need to lose to get rid of Butch.

This thread is by nature speculative. None of the stuff is really subject to proof until a point in time that it no longer matters. That being the case, these threads are the troll's natural habitat. So, they're here. Can I prove the mighty beaver is a troll? No. Do I have a common sense BS meter? Yes.

LWS - you've mentioned Frost as someone we reach out to. Have you heard us inquiring about Matt Campbell ? He's been a head coach for 4 season at a Mac school and now in his 2nd at a Power 5 Conference.

Doug Matthews is airing some laundry. Basically saying that the last couple of hires were the decision of one or two boosters. He's saying he hopes Fulmer and Manning will be involved if it's a real search and not a sham where they meet a few times and then one booster makes the decision. Listening to him I get the sense that chaos is reigning.

You can beleive whatever you want, but you are attacking him basically because you don't beleive him.

No. My post had nothing to do with MIT (as I said in my opening phrase). I've posted before that I'm skeptical ab MIT. I'm saying since JAV is already deemed a trusted insider (I'm not on TOS, but just based on what others have said), than there is the possibility that he's been given misinformation on purpose. Of course? It may be true information & we are looking at a pretty bleak future.

Exactly; it’s not like Hamilton introduced Dooley as “well we finally found this dumb hick with the famous last name to take the job after being turned down by every competent coach with a pulse.”
