Currie is hearing it from EVERYONE. National media, fans and former players. His own reputation is being tarnished and his indecisiveness is making TN look worse and worse everyday. He’s aware and can’t be doing this on purpose. Unless....

Doug Matthews saying he thinks they will make a change but per his sources the decision has not been made. Reading between the lines I take that to mean there are factions among the decision makers who are not ready to row in the same direction. That is discouraging.

This just feeds my concerns about this whole situation. Maybe our administration is so inept that the key players are just sitting on their hands hoping that Butch can win some games and they can keep him. I don't know, but it sure looks like we are playing a coaching change from behind the chains again.

He is ok but should do awesome considering he is close to Georgia and Alabama not to mention hundreds of 4-5 star athletes in Florida. He will be lucky to go to a bowl game this season.

Well I doubt if he was gonna be fired today he would not have already done the Butch Jones Show. So the "in the know" crowd who said Butch was gone after BAMA were dead wrong which makes everything they said about Gruden 100% wrong. There just looking for E-Cred....move on nothing to see here

1. Gruden publicly declines
2. Currie publicly states that he offered Gruden the farm and we were turned down
3. We hire someone else.

Anything short of one of those three events is rumor and speculation.

I don't think Grude denies publicly because his stock just rises if people think there is a "chance" NFL or College rank.

I don't think Currie would ever admit he offered or didn't to save face either for himself or whomever he hires.
