Nice read. It is not an emotional decision at this point, a large part of it is business. Butch has shown time and time again that he's not gonna get it done, so we need to right the ship before it completely sinks

I don't have any sources. Just a feeling. He's done too much in the public eye to show he is interested. He talks to Peyton and Johnny frequently. Currie is supposedly in love with him. It is not far-fetched at all.

This will be very similar to Harbaugh going to Michigan. They were a divided brand. Some were in the Lloyd Carr camp. Some were in the Brady Hoke camp. A lot of division. Harbaugh comes in and has them united by the opening presser.

Take UT. The Majors camp and Fulmer camp remain divided. The fanbase has been divided over several different issues throughout the years. This is the exact type of unifying hire that UT needs.

UT should do everything in its power to make Gruden the man. Put the ball in his hands and let's see how much he really loves Tennessee. He says it a lot.

I don't follow the logic that he wouldn't coach here while his son us here. As a parent who is also a coach, this would only add to me wanting the job.
