If there are 10 million Vol fans in the nation. We can give five bucks a piece and get up 50 million to hire a new coach and staff. I've got my five bucks ready to go fundme account.

Three points jumped out at me from JAV's comments.

1. Gruden has been developing his own version of the spread offense. Sounds like he intends to coach again, somewhere.

2. He has a recruiting plan. Sounds like he's preparing for a possible college job.

3. "If he's not the HC, it won't be because of UT." We finally have an administration willing to play with the big boys.

I like how the tea leaves are settling out...

I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but this would be the all-time splash hire. Can you imagine the headlines? That after so many trying and failing, UT lands Gruden. It would dominate the press for a few days t least.

If there was actually a legit gofundme set aside for hiring Gruden only there would people donating a lot more than $5. I'd throw $500 on it. Is there a way to guarantee it doesn't go into someone's pocket instead of to the cause? I doubt it.

Haha. I believe Butch has a better shot at winning the East, this year, than we have a shot at landing Gruden.

That said, I'm to the point of just laughing at things people say to argue their opinion he wouldn't be a good fit for TENNESSEE, or anywhere.

That's the funniest one though.
