They need to get the next coach right. This will be the 3rd coach in 10 years that UT has had to buyout. It would make much more sense to spend more money on a top tier coach and quit this buyout stuff. Just a much better business decision and college football is a business.

The spirit of the Great Gruden just appeared to me and has granted me the gift of Vols prophecy. You may ask me any Vol Football related questions about the future and I will gaze into Gruden's Super Bowl ring and give you the answers I see. The first prophecy is a free gift from Mighty Gruden himself...

Upon the day following the announcement of the coming of Gruden to Tennessee, Saban shall announce his immediate retirement.

Wake up Grudenites! You're letting the fire go out!

Other coaching threads are popping up with names like Scott Frost. This cannot stand. The Great and Mysterious Gruden must be assured of our devotion.

We should probably offer a sacrifice.

A loss will not get CBJ fired this weekend. It will not happen till after Bama. Apparently we don't want to pull the trigger to early and give an interim coach time to complicate the hiring process. Not sure what I think of this excuse but they didn't ask my opinion.
