I imagine Gruden is good friends with a lot of coaches. I doubt it would impact his decision at all. GBO!!!! SOON!!!!!

I am good with the Star Wars analogy... but as a Christian am uncomfortable with the Jesus ones ..... but not judging you or any who have simply stating my feelings

How about any of the other reasons they talked about why he won't coach in college?

They listed many but I posted that because it shouldn't be going on at all.

We all have to weigh options. Lots of reasons to and lots reasons not to. Solid arguments both ways in the case of Gruden.

Question is, which are more important to him and where is his passion? Timing is also likely very important.

To blindly say he's coming here isn't logical, but blindly saying there is no chance is not logical either. Only a select few know for sure and you aren't one of them and neither am I.

I'm with Coasty. A few comments gave me a bad vibe (kind of like someone telling an off color joke in the wrong setting), but I put it down to exuberance and maybe a bit of alcohol. The fact I laughed at a few made me feel even more awkward, but I was exuberant and had been drinking.

Just don't hate on the new coach like some fans did on Butch in 2012 when it wasn't Gruden.

First off, they aren't good friends. Secondly, Gruden worked for Al Davis. I'm sure he can handle a few rabid fans
