He was pursued by the Rams in December and the Colts in January. He was also approached by the 49ers. That's in the last year.

At the time it was reported that the Colts were offering Manning the John Elway role and Manning was considering it and contacted Gruden to become the coach if he had taken the job.

In December 2013 alone he was contacted by the Vikings, Browns, Texans, Lions, Redskins and Bucs. At the time he said he was content broadcasting.

Over the last year or two he's said the itch to coach again has gotten much stronger. He says he goes to places and they actually let him coach and install plays for them.

Correct, although it was pretty well publicized that the 49ers and Rams wanted him last year, but he declined. He actually recommended Sean McVay to the Rams.

Some names I remember .................................Docvol, Elvis68Vol, Escape Goat, Gman, Jake, Jayvols, Josey, Lexvol, Oldvol75, Oddball, pattycake, RockytopSC, and Springbok ...

I don't think I have seen any of them this time around

How did you find out all that since they don't make that stuff public according to SLV.

There are these things called news websites that report on stuff involving their NFL teams, most major city papers have one now. They have quotes from people like Jon Gruden who said he was flattered but happy broadcasting back in 2013 when he had 6 offers to coach. It's pretty easy to find the information. Try using the google.

I understand.... I honestly have not heard anyone use the name Gruden except what Finebaum said..... but I am in here because I hope we get him

Likewise. The only thing I heard worth mentioning is that CBJ isnt going anywhere before the season ends unless he loses 3 more.

Btw...Sup fellas!!! Been a while. lol I'm always around though pretty much everyday.
