If true, this will hurt the program. There will be less and less fans in the stadium and there will be more recruiting defections (which could be salvaged with the right hire). However we will be even more of a laughing stock. I do not see a benefit to Jones remaining as the coach - the stench is foul enough now.

This times 1000. It's insane to wait. He's making a huge mistake if that's what actually happens. We already lost a big time RB commit tonight and he's getting crystal balls to Clemson now. I'm sure there will be more to follow in the coming days/weeks. It has the feel right now that the wheels are about to completely come off. Naming an interim head coach brings a resurgence back to the program. Even if they lose a few games it's still not as bad because the fans know there's rays of sunshine in the near future.
