I'm not sure why gruden is on anyone's list.

He hasn't coached anywhere in a long time and it's been since the 80's? Since he was on a college coaching staff.

I am not saying that anyone is right or wrong but I'd be careful about "list". As I said in a previous post John has a group of coaches but that doesn't mean it is a be all end all. These things are crazy dynamic. Also I can tell you for sure that things over there are really tight lipped right now. Not much is coming out and a lot of what is coming out seems to be gossip.

I am hoping Boro or someone will drop in with some better news............. I am trying to keep the faith but right now this feels so much like 2012 that I want to puke

Believe... I believe will be done right this time and JG will have a chance to say no.. not his agent but JG will have an offer to personally review . Could say no ...but will handle all control and money issues with best of the best salary offer. Believe he comes this time

I have always trusted your level head friend.... and sure hope they get this right this time

My one bright note for you is...When most recruit for high level retained positions 500k plus . Many times the name is never on the list. If you are on the list you normally never receive the offer .

Talked to my insider friend and all he would say was "I didn't tell you Gruden was on the list, I said you would be happy" ..... so I again asked does that mean No to Gruden and said "I can't say"............... tifwiw

Hey, I'm just asking ... don't mean nothing by it, but ... are you bugging the snot out of your contact? If so, maybe he just said something to burst your bubble, disappoint you enough to get you to back off? Is that possible, or did he just drop the bomb on you?
