I had a blast last time & quickly became convinced it was going to happen. Once it didn't work a lot of people insisted that it was all b.s. but I have always believed it was much closer to happening than most believe. Sunday on a local tv sports show, local news & radio reporters confirmed that we did in fact offer Gruden a contract to equal Saban last time but the issues over control of the program were the biggest problems. While I think it is a long shot I do believe it could happen. This disproves the myth that UT wont spend the money. The program is in much better shape now & with the right person we could be competing for a SEC championship in 2 years & playoffs in 3 years.

No.... I am not an insider by any means , Boro, Springbok, DBarker, Slice have much better contacts than I.... but my guy is shut mouth and is only talking USCjr and our chances or lack there of... he has shut down the conversation where it was.

Could be good, could be bad.... I just don't know?

Gruden doesn't deserve Saban money because he is an UNPROVEN college coach. I would rather offer Saban more money to come here as to over pay for a has been.

The only true way to judge their ability as a coach is to find something that both coached in .... if only perhaps they both had only coached in (let's say) the NFL we might have a way to gauge their capabilities

Commenting on his sexuality is TMI and out of bounds.
I’m concerned with whether or not he has solid information, would never lie to us and that he loves sweet tea (verifying his true Southern bonafides).
If he’s a Dapper Dan man, that gets extra bonafides.

Gotcha man I don't mean to bug you...I just read that JAV on 247 mentioned that gruden is no longer considered an IMPOSSIBLE option and that he is indeed a realistic canidate which is outstanding news if true

I saw that but have no experience with JAV so unsure..... wish I had more information

As far as bugging me I am honored and that is why I am in here.... I wish I had more inside information.... my guy is just somewhat frustrated with me right now lol, I wouldn't know why, guess he may be getting tired of me asking same question lol

Well dang Coasty, 'convince' him.. Dig up dirt on him, hold him hostage, lead pipe to the knees are all viable option.. Show some initiative son... :)
