Hmm...

Butch Jones' offense seems to fit Nathan Peterman perfectly.

Maybe that's why he wanted the job so bad?

Turns out he will be announced at the press conference today but will be in the form of Butch Jones.

So, all the done dealers, and VR, and everyone else that said it was done and awaiting Dec. 18 are exposed.

That is all.

Been fun guys , I hope our new coach does a bang up job , not the guy I wanted but hey it is what it is.....if we have Dooley 2.0t then I will be back in 2015 to enjoy yet another coaching search....would have rather had Fulmer or strong but maybe it will all work out....Here's to hope!

Thanks for showing up but I like you have been hearing stuff and it turned out wrong last time I checked you are not the all powerfull OZ and can be wrong NO body is perfect

I'd like to think that in some language in the world that the word "Butch" means "Jon" and the word "Jones" means "Gruden" because that's the only way any of this stuff ever made any sense from the beginning. I think I posted twice in the whole Gruden extravaganza but I'm not going to pile on anyone.

You know why?

Because to be a Vol fan is to believe we're the best, even when we're so far away from the best it's not even funny. False hopes, realistic hopes, grumbling, b'ing & moaning, it's all part of the process. We're going to destroy Butch Jones like only we know how. We're going to crucify Dave Hart, we're going to call radio shows and annihilate without mercy anyone having to do with the UT Athletic Department for the next 9 months.

But one day, we're going to win again. With or without Butch Jones. And definitely without Jon Gruden.

Why would you support someone or something that you do not believe in. This is like supporting Obama, just because he's the president. Welp I didn't want him but he's the president so I might as well get behind him derp. This is lunacy.

You're a good man. We were all a part of creating what we believed. It was a lot of fun too. I appreciate the sense of community that was formed on here, even if it was faulty info and hope that created that. Totally worth it.

I was getting positive info as late as yesterday from a couple if sources. I've been told Gruden reached out in spring with interest. I was told a week ago that Gruden to TN was the worst kept secret in the NFL.

We'll see what comes out, but I'm hearing that Hart went off the rails from the pressure the boosters. He did his own thing in the dark of night to make this happen.
