Tennessee football is done as we know it. Say what u want about supporting your team but the season ticket holders are the ones that fund this program. They are not going to support a coach like butch jones. Been there done that. Hart and cheeks need to go. If the haslams let this happen. They can go down with the ship too. Hart needs to be fired or he will be picking his teeth up off the ground the way this fan base is.

I want to appologize for being wrong. I relayed information as I was told it. It was never my intent to lead people astray, I honestly believed what I was told.

I really don't know what to think about this hire. I just have a sinking feeling.

If Butch Jones hiring causes division this is the biggest group of uneducated football fans in the US. EVERY fan should be calling up the ticket office and revoking their tickets and donations. Worst hire in the history of UT football.

Going to be a lot of empty seats at the stadium for the next three years...hope Hart and Company are happy now and hope they have a good bankrupt attorney.

I almost pulled the trigger on season tickets two days ago after the Strong thing. Glad I did not. I will get them even cheaper in a year or two. Life is long.


I am sorry to the UT football players. You were sold a bill of goods that UT thought football was a top priority here.

I am sorry you were lied to. Any one that says "your not a Vol for life" can suck it.

This University misled these guys. That is not acceptable.

Sorry players. I had more confidence in my Alma Mater than what they have delivered.

I guess I should have known better.

This is absolutely rediculous! Our AD's ego got in the way of this hire! You have the fanbase screaming for a guy, you have people debating going to the draft depending on the hire, and you have recruits that have already stated they would def come for one guy. Instead you botch 2 chances to hire this guy! Hopefully I'll get more info of what happened... But this is who's name I was hearing yesterday and didn't want to mention bc IMO I can't root for a guy who lost to DD...

At the end of the day Tennessee decided it does not want to compete at the elite level anymore. Sad day. Why they did not offer Greg Roman is mind blowing. That was a guy that I could rally around.

I thought when we fired Fulmer we could attract a lot of good coaches and was for good. I wished they would hire Fulmer back for 1 year and after season put him as AD and help us find a coach.

No excuses...Erin did know, two weeks ago. I think when all is said and done, we'll see how duplicitous Hart and Cheek ended up being in all of this.
