I do however believe embarrassing Hart could be a part of the boosters plan in getting Gruden. Possible. Hopefully. PLEASE!

I don't believe there is any way this could be "part of any plan". No AD would embarrass himelf like this.

It looks really dark, but if he snags Gruden, He'll go from a Zero to a Hero...Just like that! (10 points for the reference!)

any find this interesting in the coaching search cliff notes:

Paul Kuharsky ‏@PaulKuharsky
Hearing reliably that Hue Jackson, currently WR coach for Bengals, is interested in UT job. I am intrigued by the idea.

He was RB and SP coach in 89 at Pacific while Gruden was the WR coach (which was Hughes' job 88)

pure speculation of course but interesting to me #graspingstraws

Yeah, it seems like this going to go one of two ways: Either he has a plan we cannot see or it really is a catastrophe.

This is true. I cannot fathom the UTAD appearing more incompetent without actually trying. So are they really this incompetent, or is it something else?

Hey guys. Told you I'd drop in every now and then.

Basically, from a team standpoint, they have ruled Gruden out. They pretty much know just as much as the average fan on who the next coach will be. And that will continue until probably the night before an announcement. They all just want, and I quote, "a coach that will come in here and take us to Atlanta next year."

Sorry as I'm sure you have all ready stated but what is your connection to the team?

Parent? Player yourself?

I'm starting to think Hart is completly inept and wont consider/purusue Gruden. Even though the boosters are still heavily purusing him.

Hart is going to settle with mediocre coach and embarass the University doing the whole process.

Nice to see they aren't asking for much, or thinking too highly of themselves.

Shoot at this point, I'd drive them to Atlanta. I just want this to be over soon

My question is what is motivation to get us a top tier coach?

He hasn't shown any true love to the university as far as I'm concerned
