Correct me if I'm wrong but if Fart is fired, won't that be yet another big buyout for TN???

And to Boro and the other OG's, thanks for this thread it has been alot of fun!!

Not as bad as Dooley hire, but will keep us down for several more years. Would like to break something but it would fix.....not a thing! I guess we see what happens, but a very sad day for what used to be Tennessee football. Thanks to the OG's for bringing us some hope during the process. Was still fun to be a part of it, and now looking for the "fire hart" thread!

We should have known there was no way we would get Gruden. This program is not serious about winning football games. They always want the cheapest coach they can get and the first one to say yes.

One thing i want to know. Why hasnt jones met with ut players first before this announcement. Usually the coach addresses the team first, then they press release it. He has met with his other team, correct. If it has been done the wrong way, u can kiss are class goodbye

Boro, DTO needs to take his take his lumps like everyone else here. Sorry about his personal problems but that doesn't give him a free pass.

whats the deal with all the "if ya dont support the team and bleed orange then get the f out!" crap? if you dont like a product arent you supposed to boycott it? isnt that what our free market is based on? if we keep buying anything with orange on it no matter the situation arent we just enabling the brass to keep doing this to us? by all means correct me if im wrong here. i dont get it.

Yeah, but we saved plenty if money by shopping for our new coach at Big Lots.....we can afford Harts buyout.

Have you guys seen that the Chargers job will be open at the end of the season? Boro, any chance this is what happened last minute?

Also, I won't doubt one bit that after the hire of Jones is made that Hart resigns some time shortly afterwards. I bet he did this on purpose because Cheek won't change the academic side for athletes, and Hart will either walk on his own or be fired by the BOT. SICKENING feeling today!

The problem freep is that if you continue to blindly support mediocrity then that's all you'll ever receive. If people continue to throw money no matter the results the results will always remain the same. Will I root for another team? He!! No! Will I find other things to do rather than have my heart broken watching my team getting pummeled on Saturdays., absolutely. When I am looking for a new sweatshirt and my thought is how much ridicule am I gonna take by wearing it cause me to choose a pro team, very likely. When UT decides to get serious about football, I'll get serious about UT football.

Start at the top...who was around when we hired Dooley? Cheek. He's got to go. I feel like he's the #1 issue with UT Football at the moment.
