'Xactly, unless they are LITERALLY all you can get which I don't believe is the case. Too much chedda on the table to be had. A confident coach will see all the passion we have to be tapped into. It's moderate risk/high reward for the qualified coach with enough moxie.

I'm hoping that Gruden's silence is a "oh crap, I really screwed with a lot of people and made them delusional" kind of silence.

Fulmer said he was going to be a heavy presence in the program.. I don't think Gruden would want that. I'm also thinking that could lead to him attempting to micro-manage.

As much as I want Brohm, I'm with what Fulmer says, we need UT blood on staff. Gruden or Tee (and I've heard, Les) gets us that.

Yeah, his record looks bad, but Ive seen a fair number of supporters reference Clemson still running his O and his strong recruiting there. While Im impressed with how much SMU's offense has improved, their D and recruiting have not. Still, I think some fans will support him. Far from full on riot.

Gruden would welcome that. He needs someone that is on top of the NCAA rules.

Agreed, only difference I might add is that when Currie was in the Bahamas, he already had his man, Schiano, we nor anyone else besides Haslam knew it.

It is not a coincidence that he was closest in talent or had more talent some years, as well. Since the gap has increased, he has failed in recent years.

I will give Dabo credit, he has done more with less. He might be better than Saban.
