Do any of the names listed, outside of Gruden or a rejuvenated Miles, strike you as individuals that will make Saban take notice? I don't see any mid-major two-year HC, or any coordinator becoming a difference maker in the conference or against Bama. That is what I'm looking for...if not we should have kept Butch, or shuttered the program.

Doesn’t that sort of contradict your feelings as Butch had some sort of death grip on his job and if I recall correctly you felt that your only concern was Butch getting canned. I believe after he was fired you stated that was all you were honed in on, although you had other knowledge you wouldn’t/couldn’t put out there. But the replacement list was a good list?

What have I learned today based on all the mixed speculation...nobody knows what the he11 is going on.

You are not alone...I look at all the other coaching searches and they were pretty quick and they have moved on. Granted, we had a little more drama, but something has to be going on outside the norm here.
