Good morning everyone. I’m a lurker, not just on this thread but the last 6-7 years! I have enjoyed this thread and it has taken my mind off several other things.

I joined Twitter a few days ago. Has anyone noticed how the national media is doing to us what they accuse us of doing to Schiano? They don’t care about facts nor will research to find them. I know this is epidemic with “journalists” these days but it gets old. Part of me thinks, eff it because our voice is heard now. Part of me says man, Twitter sucks

Besides we achieved as far as I am concerned 90% of what we wanted. That was to disable the Haslams. The next step is a coach we all get behind.

But since we are talking records. What was Sabans, Spurriers, Carrols first stint, etc NFL's record?

Agreed, if hiring a coach was just about the record, just put the numbers in a spreadsheet and hit the sort button.

Oh yeah and really crushed by PM alignment with Haslam. I didn't want it to be true but it seems like every source is reporting it.

Went to bed last night in the old Gruden thread. Quote feature was gone an I thought major news was happening so I was reading like a mad man trying to get to the end... only to see the thread closed. 😒

As far as Tee is concerned, I think those who wanted him pre Fulmer were looking to him to stabilize the program. With Fulmer at the helm, him as HC isn’t needed. I’d love to have him as OC/Asst HC. Honestly, Gruden is the only choice that makes sense. He fits what we need.

They do push it for that as well! There are so many road and bike marathons there. Ever do the Ragnarok race?

I lived there long enough to learn to monitor my consumption lol. Especially because you have a lot of house guests when you live in a tourist area and they’re all there for that Key West experience. It’s a fun town, but it will kill you.

Got there on Thursday, race was on Sunday. Not the best thought out plan.

Yep, all wonderful news. And an important, necessary front end to the really important part: getting the right coach to lead our lads to championships.

Really looking forward to the next several days as Phil drives that to the conclusion.

That was my first thought as well! Unfortunately, I don’t live in TN anymore. The closest university to me is Georgetown- just don’t think it would be quite as lucrative. Lol.
