Thanks. Crazy that you can bring factual info to this board and if it does not fit the narrative that he is currently meeting with UT you get slammed. I appreciate your words. I’ll not make the mistake of releasing the other information that I have.

You always have people who are skeptical and instead of just saying they are skeptical, they feel the need to belittle those that bring the info. I hate that because it alienates people that bring info. But, its just a few that do it. I understand if you don't want to deal with, but there are more that appreciate the info than those that feel the need to be insulting.

I'm just imagining Gruden's last night on MNF, he just throws up the deuces Sammy Sosa style and starts singing "Rocky Top"....live and in color

My son who passed away a few months ago was born that Fall. I dragged a box out of storage that had baby clothes of his saved because I’m having a quilt made of some of his clothes as a keepsake. Anyway, I totally forgot I saved those all those years ago so they’ve been stored away closed up all these years.

I think it’s a Grude sign that says SOON! Don’t you? :)

Sorry to hear about your son, man. That really puts things in perspective..God Bless you.

His Junior year was indeed a hell of a lot. He basically played 2 years of tight-end for UT and is 3rd alltime at the school because of that one year.

Michelle used to work for my brother at one time. They are good family friends. Her and Jason are 100%, stand up people regardless of him playing football.

Bowl eligible? DeerHunter you need to leave that Humboldt County shrubs alone. Don't you know since the government got there hands on the smoke business they've been spraying that stuff with chemicals that Walter White's never heard of!?

edited that to "Bowl cut eligible" thought everybody would get it without that. was wrong.

Sorry about your son, I can't imagine dealing with the loss of a child.
Thank you! He was physically and cognitively disabled so the most difficult thing is after nearly 19 years of caregiving it just stopped. I still feel like I need to care for him, even though I know he’s in God’s care. He was such a good boy and a blessing to us. I take it a day at a time. Fortunate to have lots of support from family and friends. Some days God has to carry me, to tell the truth. Volnation has been a huge blessing, just giving me something totally different to think about and a new community of people to get to know and share with. I appreciate you all so much!

Listen to my story bout a man named Phil,
looking for a man who could coach up on the hill
Currie hired a pederast and everybody booed
so Phil drilled down, struck a bubbling Grude

Jon, that is.......Bowl Cut, Orange Grimace...............

Y'all come back now, hear?

John "Thunder" Thornton. Real estate developer out of Chattanooga and one of the largest booster with ties to UT athletics.

He bought a few of us UT fans beers at the Stagecoach Bar in Wilson, WY back when I lived there. He came into the restaurant I managed in Jackson Hole a few times and we would talk Football for a couple of minutes. He brought Phil with him once when I was out of town, and a GA fan friend of mine gave me crap because she got to meet him.

Much respect to you. Takes a lot of strength to do that and I can only imagine the pain. I’m sure he is having an amazing time with the man upstairs.

You know he is! His twin brother died at birth so I like to think of them being together after all these years. Makes me happy to think of that. Thank you for your kind words. Also I appreciate the info you’ve brought to the thread! :)

That's awesome! I loved that story you told about the Arkansas game and how you wrote PF and thanked him and he wrote you back and you still have the letter. Now we have finally broken the Fulmer curse of how he was treated unfairly by Haslam/Hamilton/Currie by hiring him as our Ad and right this football ship. And now you found this treasure. Oh Gruden is coming. I don't need an insider or someone who speculates cause a plane is headed somewhere. I just know it in my heart. Can't explain it. See my wife was diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme brain cancer. She had brain surgery in August. They could only get 60% because it was too deep. She is the absolute love of my life and this beautiful Knoxville girl love UT football as much as anyone on here. She has never been to a game. I hope to take her to one next year. I prayed to the good Lord above that Gruden would come and return us to glory. GRUDEN TO THE HILL 💯

Maybe they are throwing Les's name out there as a PR move to get the University back in the news in a good light and help show the naysayers that "Hey, look, a National Championship coach wants this job. UT is top tier!! All you "journalists" can EOBAD!!!" So then Gruden doesn't have to step into a (BS media-driven) dumpster fire.

But also, if Gruden says no, you actually have a SECC and NC coach as Plan B who's willing to take less money to bring in a heck of a staff.

Those saying "I'm out" if Les is hired with a VFL staff are borderline mentally disabled.

GTFO with that common sense stuff...
