New email sent, gonna send every 15 mins, tweeting like an SOB right now as well lol
To whom it may concern,
With the recent firing of former Athletic Director John Curry, please know that the University supporters are now looking to you to lead the way to a brighter future for this great University and the great Athletics Department.
Please do not be influenced by outside factors such as Jimmy Haslam. Show him and any others that appear to control the University with iron fist that you will not be pushed around.
Do what's right, look to former Vols for guidance, Phil Fulmer, David Blackburn, Charles Davis, all great former Vols who would put the best interest in all the student-athletes to the front. Allow them to guide you into a resurgence in UT athletics. This athletics department has a rich history, from Gen. Robert Neyland, all the way to Phil Fulmer. Also don't forget about how influential Pat Summit was to women's athletics as a whole in this country. Be the guiding light that his once proud University used to be.
I'm just a humble fan and supporter of this great University. Please do not allow the Haslams to continue to control this University as if it were their own personal toy.
Thank you for your time,
Speaking of math, it's very doubtful you have a 147 IQ. Statically speaking there should be only like 6-8 people posting on this board with that high of an IQ just in pure numbers terms. But then you'd have to account for self-selection to posting in a board like this in the first place in the middle of a work day AND the very fact that most of the population hasn't had an IQ test to accurately measure it.
So again, it's doubtful.
So Currie was trying to do the right thing, gets fired, with pressure to the chancellor from Haslam, and is they are trying to appoint another yes man??
I think Currie had no power to hire any one after the Schiano deal. I think it's all been faked to make it look like we're searching and make Currie look like crap on his way outOk, question...
Was Currie good or bad? Was he trying to do the right thing and hire leach behind Haslam or was it something else? I cant wrap my head around this??
Yes. And if Currie wanted to keep his job and had the chance why wouldn't he publicly interview and hire Gruden? Because gruden has always had the job..
I cant imag these boosters have been batting for a solid week to oust the HoH only to have a cronie put back in power. Keep the pedal down everyone.
Interesting, Orange. So what would Davenport use the press conference to say, if not to announce a new AD?
