I just walked past Brent Hubbs sitting in the Thompson Boling Arena cafeteria. I thought about engaging him, but he was on the phone. Not that he would have given me anything anyway.

Should have bugged his phone and planted a tracking device.

Want to know whether we really have had a "voice" in this change of direction?

Listen to the new AD when introduced this afternoon.

Listen for one specific statement.

...

"Voices" can be as crude and basic as a primal roar, a haunting scream in the night.

Or they can be incredibly communicative, detailed, intricate in the amount of information they pass along.

Which have we been? Have we simply been the primal roar that brought change without fully being understood? Or has the UT administration truly heard our desires, in detail?

When the new AD takes the podium, his comments may include words to this effect: "my first order of business in the search for a new head football coach is to contact Jon Gruden and bring him aboard, or force him to say no."

It's simple.

If he says that, he truly heard what we were saying. If he does not, all he heard was our scream in the night.

We'll know in a few hours.

I love the sentiment, but that's asking a lot for a brand new AD. Still, it would make my day!

I think Gruden/Tee combo is announced tomorrow. I think they let Currie ride this week knowing he was getting fired by today just to let him do dirty work of interviewing as punishment. Feel like Gruden is already a done deal waiting on the new ad to sign the deal. Tomorrow will be exciting
