This hidden, cloak-and-dagger BS is either fake, greatly exaggerated (highly likely), or 100% real (I doubt it). This isn't Game of Thrones, people's lives aren't in jeopardy, and most of this stuff is probably ginned up by low-level donors or people attached to donors as a great big LARP.

Exactly. I want a change as much as any Vol. I was born at the University Medical Center, my father LEFT the minitue I was born and cleared by the staff to go to a game....that's not a joke...

I'm 39, I watched Shuler, and Manning, and went to Tempe with my family to see Tee win it all...

All the passion stuff aside, here we sit, without a coach and with a f***ed up top level admin crisis. And as fans we're fighting over blocking ANY decent coach who might actually win to oust the figure heads, behind a charge of chat room posters who 'can't tell us the full story due to connection reasons'.

Personally I'd love to see an all Vol staff, follow the Wisconsin model and bring in a group of coaches who LOVE this university. But keeping any decent hire (WHICH I FULLY BELIEVE LEACH IS) out of Knoxville based on the cryptic 'Fire Currie-Deport Haslam' movement is getting to the point of ludicrous.

Now if ANY of the major players, from Fulmer, to Manning, to a team of high level boosters, would step to a podium and say 'enough, we're not budging until X-Y-Z are changed'....I'd stand shoulder to shoulder....

However, as of now, we're damaging the brand more than helping it...Schiano was one thing, Double D was also a good show of strength...but come on folks.
