Have you ever considered this scenario??? Tee wants to get back to Tennessee, he also has goals to become a head coach. In the first scenario he was approached as a package deal with gruden. In the second scenario he has about 9 schools looking for his interest in head coaching vacancies. Now, currie and haslam have had their hand forced, if they reached out to him, vfl's are probably
Pushing him to take it in which tee is listening, his close friends and family are against him
Coming back until the administration is clear. He has always put family first.........

Yes, I have considered it. What does that have to do with his post?

I picture Currie 6 months from now, when he's long since fired, at the asylum walking around in PJs interviewing other patients.

Live feed of Currie finally signing a coach.

Way fishy. Its almost like it’s crazy not to believe in the Grude plan.

I wonder if this was his way of getting coaches their raises cause Gruden’s cool like that with fellow coaches and it backfired.
That's what I've been saying. It gives him time out of this mess as well. Announce him when the Schiano thing has calmed down. I've always heard he's been all about giving other coaches opportunities

I already said this a few roman numerals ago...I've met Tuesday and will vouch for him. We made contact from this board and keep in touch regularly. He hasn't misled anyone. He approved me putting this out on previous post when someone tried to attack him

Good on ya, Hawk👍

This whole thing is almost so stupid and weird that it feels like we may come out ahead. We always say smokescreen, what if the whole dang process has been a smokescreen?

They are trying to prove they are right...You don't see it, but you are literally watching a power struggle play out right now. If Currie makes the hire...Haslam remains where he is. If Currie is marginalized, you have the change you have been wanting for at least 8 years.

Not sure I buy it, for a couple of reasons:

1. Physics -- if you can't see it, you're not watching it. It may be happening out there somewhere, but you're not watching it.

2. Currie being fired does not put a stake in Haslam's heart. It's a step forward, but maybe only a small one if you're talking in terms of Haslam influence.

Mostly depends on who gets to name and control the new AD, neh?

How can any of you believe this was staged? This is utter f***king incompetence and ego. Currie has actually offered the job to other people. If they say yes what does Currie do. Say, oh just kidding.

Some of you need to at least be a little more realistic. This is a Haslam and Currie ****show. There is no grand Grude plan here. They botched it. They screwed it up. Worse than any coaching search has ever been screwed up before. Nothing else.

Fire Curry.

Ban Haslam.

Ok... not sure why you quoted my post in this.

He's not the only one. All these coaches know Jimmy Haslam is killing our FB team and do not want to coach here.

We are going to keep hearing that we are close and just have to keep the pressure up a bit longer and then we will be blindsided.

I have thought that too. But it seems too ****ed to be a smokescreen? This has been the most insane coaching search i have ever seen though. All the way from thw begining of "Fire Butch" to MIT Beaver popping up.

davenport is his boss.
dipietro is her boss.

can't one of these get it done?

i mean, generally, your boss can fire you.
at least that's the world i live in.
:hi:

The problem is Dipietro needs to go too!!!
He stopped Brohm hire over 5 million dollar buyout!

You don't have to make Tee look bad. We just have to DEMAND that Currie is fired first.

it'll be too late.
the fan base will be pacified with this.
the chancellor and president would look like dr evil if they veto.
the fans that protest will look like idiots at that point.

the boosters have to get currie out before Tee is an option.
