I wish I made enough money to be considered important by our administration. I just wish I could have a seat at the table. I would lock the doors and have them put Currie and Haslam in a dark closet. I would maul them like a hungry grizzly bear protecting its cubs, I would also beat them with bags of rolled up nickels. Good lord get them away from Tennessee. PLEASE!

That's what's got us here in the first place... The die hard, blue collar, can't donate but can donate our blood, sweat, and tears for this university don't matter... The only thing we are good for in all of their eyes is filling the seats.. So that's where we stay.. If there was a way of allowing one of of us "not rich enough fans" to sit or let our voices be heard would be nice..

That was his comment to a recruit he has spoken to. It brings hope on one hand, but on the other Currie said a lot of things that have turned out to be not accurate at all.

All I'm saying is that a gruden hire could already be planned out but all of the details we don't know makes it more complicated. People aren't talking for a reason. If Currie HAD to find a coach I can guarantee someone would take it. He's not looking for a coach, they've already got one. This is just a formality. Obviously gruden would have bad press for being known as the coach through all this. The deterioration of Schianos reputation would most likely be put on him. Its safer for everyone to make it look like he was choice 6 instead of 1. It would've made the fans look worse too, because we would've fell right into the medias trap that we didn't want Schiano for his record and not his morals if gruden was announced the next day and people overjoyed
