I done, Done I? there was no contradiction. what you have here is a logical fallacy. I didn't change my story, I raised a hypothetical. Jesus, I never said I WAS the one making the ****ing deal. Paul Revere said the british were coming. and by Gum they were, but if they had they run into a bear or an avalanche on the trail and turned around, it doesn't make Revere wrong. Revere wasn't the general of the troops, you understand. Sure, he'd have had some egg on his face though. as would I, if this deal backfires, again.

I'm 99% sure this is happening, but I'm not going to pretend like there's not a chance of it falling through, I don/t know that for sure. IF it were already inked, we'd be hearing Gruden's comments right now

What gives hope about Gruden is that Beav said there would be a time where it would look like it wouldn't happen and then it would. Certainly there have been four days of extreme doubt regarding Gruden.

There's no better time to maximize the good news and erase all the negativity than making the announcement the weekend of the SEC Championship.

He was on the list getting emails from me. The second one I sent him, which included the text of the first, was responded to with what looked like a canned response. I replied to it, and was amazed when I got a personal response. It was short, but given everything I had said below, it was encouraging.

one if by land. there's some steep bluffs up there. hell I'm not even a college graduate myself. just paradigm. what if they saw a snake on the trail and ran their scared asses back to the boats? lets hope Gruden doesn't notice the snake on the trail (Currie)

I actually think the Haslams are holding their own pocket ace and waiting till they have no other option but to use it.

What if Schiano was Haslam and Curries guy? Everyone else thinks Gruden, Currie sneaks off for talks, leaks get out and it's shut down. Grudens contract still on table but wants to let everything die down, get staff together, etc. If they were not ready to announce gruden and Currie goes rogue, they probably wouldn't want to announce gruden in this mess, for reasons such as finishing details, getting the ad straightened out, and avoiding the even more insane press of having schiano, gruden both being announced at the same time, as well as protests. Not a good look imo. So, they decide to wait it out till sec championship when media is all out, to announce. The coaches in between were all ones either the fans wouldn't accept or wouldn't leave their jobs anyway. Good way to persuade coaches under table to put up a front to potentially get raises and extensions at current job as well as side UT. Makes them look like they are doing something as well which while hasn't been the best publicity, it hasn't been the worst, especially compared to Schiano
