I would say though, there is a strong chance he's getting tired of being tweeted about the UT ordeal...so he just cut it off..

Unless I misunderstood their article, it said "contract". IMO, they discussed/presented an offer most likely "approved" by Haslam (not approved by his bosses Davenport or DiPietro).

Currie had to get approval from his boss before an offer could be presented as a "contract". It was rejected. Language matters.

Very very interesting all of this is wild and far different from 2012 that being said I hope we get gruden I'm just still trying to connect as to why a gruden article dropped before the actual hire was made the real coach it doesn't make sense if you could connect them for me

I just kept my mouth shut on the call besides introducing myself. One of the guys stated that Kiffin didn't have the discipline to run a big time program. Besides that they really didn't discuss who they want as coach except the current group of coaches being mentioned are not good enough for UT.

They all agreed to withdraw their donations until this mess in the AD is figured out. Basically when Currie is fired. From what I gathered those are yearly donations in the mid 6 figures when added together. Also some have stated they would withhold or change their estate donations that have been set up as well. I understood this to be in the 7 figure range.

I didn't know everyone on the call but one person is from a family that has their name on some things at UT. At the end of the call one of them said that they were going to call President's and Chancellor's office this morning and let them know of the conversation that just took place. Apparently he is someone whose call they will take.

Again I didn't know a lot of these folks and the money I am withholding from UT because of this mess, well lets just say they won't be running out of toilet paper by loosing my money.

Another thing they said, and all stated this, Kiffin is not welcome back on the hill.

Thank God some people have some pride. F that d-bag. He s@#t on us once already. I can't believe how many people are so eager to give him the opportunity to do it again.

VolNation , we and the nation have been trolled for the last week by our administration. During this time they’ve uncovered leaks and and made as*** out of the people they wanted to get back at and also helped out friends get raises and contracts. Jmo

He left for his legitimate dream job. I don't think he would disrespect us again.

Let me state again, I am not an insider. I have seen what happens to those folks in here! IMO This looks a lot like they are trying to buy time for something. Why float all these deals? I dare say if the Brohm one wasn’t true, none of them were. I do think that Currie was on board for Shiano, but didn’t expect he backlash. Someone has to take the fall and I think he’s the sacrificial lamb. What I am trying to figure out is why cause all this chaos and all this negative press towards UT? Is the end worth the damage getting there? I’ve been tweeting WBIR to push them to follow up on the Gruden deal twitter post this morning.

Supposedly the mou from Friday 25th. Sunday 27 after Vandy game Gruden was to speak to UT officially. Then, the play was made by Haslam and Currie blindsiding good guys.

So, the article was put out because supposedly Gruden was going to be with UT officially on Sunday, the morning the article was released.

After haslam and currie started their own plan someone in AD leaked the plan, and thus, shi* storm.

WHY? Would we not interview a single coach that would potentially take this job?

Something Big is a brewing! Has to be, not even the dumbest person on earth would put themselves to this torture and public ridicule with out a master plan.

Or...we are truly screwed! I believe if they was going to fire Currie, he’d already be gone.
