No offense to the guy, but Im tired of posts like this. Not that hes dont anything wrong, but at this point, it makes me feel like its a losing effort.
Question.
If somehow Currie is fires and the Haslams lose their grip on UT and someone like Blackburn is hired.
Do we still have a shot at a big time coach?
Would they still come here if they saw a power switch and had a respectable AD to work for?
Also, by big time coach I mean Gruden! (Cause Gruden TIL it isnt!!!)
I'm hearing Les has called everybody in the Knoxville phone book trying to get an interview. Nobody will talk to him.
That is malfeasance if true. Like him or not, he has possibly the strongest resume of anyone available. If it's a legitimate search, you at least have to talk to him.
Feldman reporting that the Wolfpack have stepped up. Best thing that could happen is another coach realizing that they dont want to be Haslams patsy.
