I may get screamed at for this. But I DO NOT like the narrative that's being played out in the media insinuating the TN Administration is racist? I get we are in the middle of war, but this is going to take it to a completely different level. It could force the hand to make change, but I don't agree with it!!

Question.

If somehow Currie is fires and the Haslams lose their grip on UT and someone like Blackburn is hired.

Do we still have a shot at a big time coach?

Would they still come here if they saw a power switch and had a respectable AD to work for?

Also, by big time coach I mean Gruden! (Cause Gruden TIL it isn’t!!!)

Sources: Gruden signed a MOU w/ @Vol_Football last Friday & wanted 2 stipulations:
1. Seven days to put his staff together
2. Complete control.

Then he didn't sign an MOU because an MOU would be initiated by UT and if it didn't include Gruden's requirements, he wouldn't sign it.

I agree. Taking advantage of the racism card for gain. Not okay, IMO. Those people wouldn't be saying this if we weren't otherwise botching the search.

I would have hope, but no matter what we would get a good quality hire. But I have no doubt he would try!:rock:
