We need another big flurry of activity from VN this morning to help Coach DD make his decision to pass on UT. Now is not the time to be complacent.

When this is all said and done, I hope to hell someone (probably Chattanooga) does some gorram journalism and we find out everything that really happened.

Grude Morning Hit that tyrants twitter feed at NC State tell him he is not wanted . Hit it hard. And all have a great day . One more and I believe Currie is done so double down . Students paint the rock that we don’t want double D from NC State

This morning’s message to Joe and Bev

Good Morning,

I will once again mention that I am one of thousands of alumni that will no longer step foot inside Neyland or spend one red cent in support of this University while John Currie is Athletic Director.

By extension, I will not support any coach hired by John Currie. Fans showed their frustration when less than 70,000 attended the Vanderbilt game. They showed their frustration last night while adamantly chanting for Mr. Currie’s firing. The $5 million buyout for Mr. Currie pales in comparison to the loss of revenue the athletic department will suffer when Neyland remains half full.

Please consider nullifying the offer to Coach Doeren. Replace John Currie with Coach Fulmer as interim AD or even interim Head Coach. Release a statement to VolNation in support of their efforts to expect the best. Resume the coaching search once John Currie is no longer employed.

You can be heroes in this story, or by default you will be held responsible.

I wouldn't give up just yet. A lot of times, the feds roll up the lower levels before moving higher. They charge the underlings, then cut deals for reduced sentences/fines in exchange for testimony that implicates the higher level people.

Then, they move up another level...until they ultimately get to the top.

I believe packaged by our favorite sports agent, Sexton. That is what is referenced on twitter. I am not a huge Kiffin fan, but that combo would be a stellar hire. Compared to Schiano and Doeren, this is not even in the same stratosphere.
