Never said I was. I don't trust any of them. Money talks though so maybe the 'Other Boosters' have gotten to Joe and Bev. We'll know shortly if Doernen (sp) accepts.

If I’m reading that right, it sounds like if they try to sign off on the Doeren hire, the masks are coming off. Not when they sign him but if they try. I’m also guessing there’s some calls being or have been made to Doeren encouraging him to choose wisely.

Can someone that knows give us an idea of what is going on.... in the last few days there have been some posts that some things have been found out about the Haslams.... what are they and how does Peyton and a bad UT football team fit in

Me either. I read it was $4.5M for the NC State coach. Hell even Les Miles is better than who he is offering. Boggles the mind.

I don't know. Every indication is she hates football and wants UT to be Vandy east..NOT a dumb football school. The only reason she nixed the Brohm deal is cuz it was too much being spent on a dumb football coach. She realizes we need to have a football coach so she'd probably approve a 3 mill deal...even though she thinks even that is way too much...but she'll begrudgingly sign off.

I hope everything i just said is dead wrong by the way.

If I were the nc state coach I'd feel insulted that they'd offer only 4.5m after they had jus offered gundy 7m+, granted he might know he's not worth that much but in this situation he's got all the leverage so why not go for more, what's the worst that happens? They pull the offer?

VOL NATION HAS SPOKEN AND OUR VOICES WERE HEARD!!!!!!!!!!! I'm excited!!! If you ask me, Currie is still a little weasel, but whatever, We'll take it. Sorry I had to log in under a pseudonymdonym, I don't want to be the guy who leaked it, but we fans have been through so much trauma already, I couldn't NOT share this with my VOL brethren!
