Didn't realize Pruitt was still a candidate when I sacked out. He is Bammer to the bone; born, played, and coached. Feels wrong.

Coach Cutcliffe was born in Birmingham, played high school ball in Birmingham and went to college at Alabama. He then went and coached high school ball in Birmingham after college.

He only had a connection to anything Tennessee after he had done all of the above. Give me the best COACH. We need a coach who can Coach ball. This guy can clearly do the job and has been for years.

Someone (not anyone that among our trusted posters) dropped in and said it was a no from Gruden. No idea where they heard it, but everybody ran wild with it.

Then a major troll infestation and then news that Pruitt was our new coach (again not from one of our own) and that some of the players had been told. (StoneCold dropped in and said players didn't know anything.) Then meltdowns and nastiness.

DTO dropped in and said he heard it was a no and everyone lost their minds. Honestly felt like maybe AD turned on the smoke machine and a full on rave started - but not the good kind!!

Just like the previous AD, this AD has done nothing to squelch the Grumors... It's ridiculous and was a part of the reason for the revolt.

Is the administration really that blind? If it's not Gruden, someone at Tennessee should have reached out to Gruden and LaMonte should have issued a denial.

It's either Gruden or REALLY REALLY bad public relations. Since this is UT, I'm going with the 2nd.

The names being thrown around puts me in fairweather fan territory... Will have to earn the trust and it won't come easy.
