This may have already been stated in some way or another, but here goes anyway.
He said never say never, he talked about loving Rocky Top but he never denied or said no publicly.
It looks as if Currie never asked him? He was only interested in Schiano.
Maybe there was nothing to deny? Maybe saying "never say never" was an invitation to ask? Maybe talking about Rocky Top was him saying look at me, I am interested. I know it may be really far fetched, but the fact he nor his agent never said no was because he didn't have anything to say no to?
Hmm, if your "place of business" in this analogy is Volnation.com, and you are leaking things for over a month that are completely false, sounds like you should start looking into other career fields. You know what else you can do in a free country? Tell people they're FOS. In this case Beaver, VolNExile, OrangePill, etc. are FOS. Maybe they honestly believed they weren't, but they certainly ended up being it nonetheless.
This place being any sort of source of "inside information" (along with VQ) is officially debunked at this point.

At the very least Currie has to be fired. If he stays, he will be on really thin ice. No coach is coming here with a lame duck AD. Only way this hire works out is if Blackburn or Fulmer make it.
I prefer that too. But it's difficult for info to flow freely when posted info either gets shouted down or starts a huge fight in thread.
Just saying. Free flow of info has been DISincentivized. It happens, just the nature of the interwebz.
Edit: to be clear, I am not saying Freak or the mods have disincentivized info here. They do a great job for the most part of keeping trolls subdued.
If we're going this far, which I don't think it totally ludicrous, then it's not much further to say that Currie orchestrated all of this.
Currie knows that Haslem is the big player and can't buck him directly. He lets the fanbase get rabid over Gruden and then leaked the MOU to get a riled-up VolNation to go nuts on social media.... he gets to escape Haslem's hire and now go do his own.
Someone has leverage to bring 16 in on this..Reminder JH never says something like this until it was out in a history book
Not really. You could ask the federal agency providing the funds for some specific purpose under FOIA, I suppose. Not sure how AD records/communications would be covered by that. FOIA is a federal law for federal agencies. In Tennessee, state agencies are covered by the Tennessee Public Records Act.
Here's info from UT on records requests:
"Public Records Requests
UTs Office of Media and Internal Relations handles requests for public records for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, campus.
Along with complying with the Tennessee Public Records Act, the university aims to respond as efficiently and promptly as possible. Any Tennessee resident can request records made or received pursuant to law or in connection with the transaction of official university business."
