He's about the only one not named Gruden that could truly unite the majority of this fanbase.
Anytime something like this arises cause will be evaluated. So my answer is yes but I have not been told directly by anyone at this time.
The thing now is do not let up. Write, call, text, tweet. If you know anyone booster, player, BOT, legislators, make it your mission to help. This does not need to stop with Currie.
For those that are worried about the national media making us look bad. Stiffen your back and do whats right. Stand up for Tennessee and dont be a wilting violet in the face of a bunch of wind bags. Many people give lip service to giving your all for Tennessee and now is your chance. Dont go quietly or be shouted down.
Short story yes.
Not sure I think this is true, but short version...
Boosters thought Currie was signing Gruden.
But Currie signs Schiano.
Boosters think it's getting announced Tuesday, tomorrow.
Friday Currie wants Neyland clean fast after game on Saturday.
Sunday he's set to announce Schiano. Chit hits the fan.
No way it gets botched that fast by only fans.
Something happened, cause it's still happening. Lol.
He's busy doing what he does best so if I may....you have no freakin clue how much an asset he has been and continues to be. Granted, he is only one of the players but he IS one of the important players. Of course, time will tell which side(hate to say that) has been full of themselves....Ride or Die !!As much as I agree with this post, just stop please. I admire the creativity and the way you were able to get us even a little bit of hype, but you're clearly not an insider like you claim to be
So is he still willing? Is anyone with ANY authority speaking with him? He was my first choice, then Petersen, then John Harbaugh.
I can't help but believe the good list / top men / comments were nothing more than wishful thinking at this point. Boosters may have been pursuing a stellar hire, but I don't believe for a second that UT was. Stellar hires can dictate terms, all they want (and have ever wanted at UT) is a lackey "yes man" that might get them to a bowl.
